Vertical window blinds are applied for variuos purposes. They provide elegance and cosiness for office and home. They disperse and adjust the stream of light coming through the window, therefore the interior looks new and different.

Vertical blind is a set of equal slats hanging vertically on the aluminium rail. Slats can be preferably made of textile, plastic, wood or woven wood. Slats can be 180° rotated by the help of the mechanism.
Textile verticals are the most popular in Europe. The slats are made of firm, specifically impregnated and long lasting fabric, usually polyester, cotton+polyester or fiberglass. The later fabrics are flame retardant and this is a indispensable condition for public structures in Western Europe.
While in the Neatherlands and especially in Belgium vertical blinds made of plastic slats are more popular. These are usually 89 mm in width, made of high quality PVC, which is flame retardant, antistatic and easy to maintain. Plastic stats may absolutelly darken the premisse.
However, Lithuanians prefer 127 and 89 mm width textile slats. Small sized vertical blinds are more attractive when made of narrower slats. „Lauresta" manufactures trapezium and various bend-form vertical blinds also.
