This Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the “Policy”) sets out, in a clear and transparent manner, the principles for the collection and use of information on our website, as well as other provisions related to the protection of your personal data. This Policy applies when you visit our website, register for a measurement, contact us regarding the purchase of products or services, request information, or subscribe to our newsletters.

This Policy also aims to inform you about the processing of your personal data. When processing your personal data, we act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on the Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other applicable legal acts.

For the purposes of personal data processing, we act as the data controller – Lauresta, Sole Proprietorship, legal entity code 163233143, with its registered office at Sandėlių g. 16, LT-95107 Klaipėda, Lithuania.

Purpose of Personal Data Processing

In order to ensure transparent and responsible processing of personal data, we inform you that personal data may be processed for the following legitimate purposes:

to conclude and perform contracts;
to administer the customer database, including the handling of customer complaints and feedback;
to communicate with customers and respond to inquiries;
to ensure that customer information is accurate and up to date;
for direct marketing purposes, i.e. providing offers, information about promotions and discounts, including newsletters;
to contact customers if purchased goods were left unattended or if any issues related to completed transactions were identified.

Categories of Personal Data Collected

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Basic data necessary for the purposes described above: name, surname, and contact details such as telephone number, email address, residential address, etc.;
Data required for the provision of services or sale of goods: order details, information contained in invoices, data related to payments, etc.;
Data related to the use of services, such as service usage volumes, data collected through cookies or other similar technologies, and other related information;
Data recorded in telephone call recordings when you call our telephone numbers or answer calls from our employees;
Data provided via the “Lauresta žaliuzių centras” Facebook account’s promotional messages or offers. When completing a form on the “Lauresta žaliuzių centras” Facebook page or entering requested data in a message or offer, you provide your personal data and thereby consent to its use for the specific message as well as for the purposes of personal data processing set out in this Policy. Personal data collected for direct marketing purposes via the Facebook platform is processed only upon your separate consent to receive newsletters, offers, or other promotional materials;
Other data collected on the basis of your consent, the scope of which is specified at the time your consent is requested.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

We collect and process your personal data only on the basis of lawful grounds established in applicable legislation. This may include the legal basis of concluding and performing a contract, when you enter into an agreement with us.

Data Retention Period

We retain your personal data no longer than is required to achieve the purposes of processing or as specified by applicable legal acts, if a longer retention period is established therein. Personal data is generally stored for as long as legitimate claims may arise from contractual relationships, or as long as necessary to pursue and protect our legitimate interests. Personal data that is no longer needed is securely destroyed.

This obligation arises from the General Data Protection Regulation, the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on the Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other applicable legislation.
